Receiving from God

By faithsprings

You can never receive anything from God until you personally recognise that it is God’s will for you to have it. It doesn’t matter whether it’s healing, finances, fruitfulness or success – the same principle applies.

It will not happen because your Pastor said it is God’s will for you, or a mentor said so, or your Aunty said so, or your parents said so, or your friend said so. But because you recognise for yourself that God said it in His word and it personally applies to you.

Jesus makes something clear in John 8:

John 8:31-32
31 Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;
32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

So, what’s the practical step to take? Keep looking at and meditating that Word until the knowledge of it gets from your head and your mind into your spirit (Josh 1:8, Psa 1:2-3). Until the Word of God gets into your spirit through meditation, it can’t profit you. And how do you know the Word has gotten into your spirit? When no circumstance can make you say anything about your situation other than what God’s Word says, regardless of what seems to be the personal cost (Dan 3:16-18).

What if reading or comprehending the Word is always a struggle ? Then I have good news. Take the below confession regularly before you get into the Word, and you will see a change in a very short while.

God’s WORD is His will. It is supernatural and alive. It is God speaking to me. I highly value God’s WORD and put it first place in my life. It makes me victorious in all I do. It is my reference Book for living. According to Joshua 1:8, I meditate on God’s WORD day and night, and I fearlessly act on what it says, knowing that no word from God is without power. Therefore, I deal wisely and have good success in all I do. God’s WORD is my supreme authority and its wisdom opens the door for God’s higher way of life for me. I am a covenant believer, and I walk in THE BLESSING of Abraham. God meets my every need. I never worry or become desperate because I trust in the truth of His WORD.

Send me a message and let me know how you are doing. I look forward to your testimony.
